Restore Failure Cannot Allocate Memory
Downloaded Lion install on my iMac. I then reformatted the internal hard disk and proceeded to restore my backup (external HDD to internal HDD). bash-3.2# asr restore --erase --source /Applications/Install\ OS\ X\ Yosemite.app/Contents/SharedSupport/InstallESD.dmg --target /Volumes/YOSEMITE/ Validating target...done Validating source...done Could not find any scan information. Each time I got the error message about being unable to allocate memory AND at one point, got an "input/output" error. Check This Out

I had no issues getting OS X 10.7.0 onto a USB drive with Disk Utility, but kept getting errors with 10.7.4. When I view the contents of my flash drive after the attempts, it always looks identical to the contents of the dvd itself, yet netbook maker will not even recognize my I'll let you know within the next couple days.
