Without this, ADO will default to taking *all* fields as the key and stuff these in the SQL WHERE clause it constructs on the fly. The default for ADO generating SQL is to use all the fields and values you originally queried from the database to find the in your database. I delete one record and when I reopen my app I find that two have been deleted instead. some values have been change.... More efficient?

MDAC/Jet/ACE downloads .•. Delphi "row Cannot Be Located For Updating" users key data in the form and save it to a database table. (adoquery.append to start a new record and adoquery.post to save the data). Thanks !
