I just can't become an ldap user on the client.I didn't setup TLS/SSL. There is some info in /Library/Preferences/OpenDirectory/Configurations/Active Directory/YOURDOMAIN.plist that might allow you to alter the DC the clients are looking at, although it does sound like a re-bind is needed to me. nisDomain attribute is not set in the DIT to represent the entry point for the specified client domain.
