I could browse the CD, see the file it wanted, click on it, yet it still wouldn't take it. I cloned the hard disk to a much larger one a few years ago before it showed any problems. Also, it regarded the USB drive as "C:" and the hard drive as "D:".I tried starting the process all over again (rerunning WinToFlash), but again I am getting the same files Can your PC run 64 bit XP? have a peek at these guys find out what hid.dll is doing on computer, whether its safe, info on related errors and how to remove it.
So now I just need to make sure that it's the Corsair DIMM that's bad and not the DIMM socket on the MB. a fresh burned copy of XP, do ya want MS's phone number to tell them too ? TechSpot is a registered trademark. Well, 2 questions.

Some hid.dll errors could be related to some kind of malware infection on your computer that has damaged the DLL file.It's even possible that the hid.dll error you're seeing is related But a different file pops up instead.

Examine the CD surface for scratches. But remember it's DOS based.
