If I uninstall IE 8, isn't it necessary to have IE available for an install? Reinstall XP Sp3 and then Ie7 so you can remove it again later. He feels exactly the same way about IE8 and WMP11 as i do, so here i am begging for anyone's help on how i can rollback or uninstall sp3, or just Omega, I personally wouldn't go down this road - It's a long, hard, stressful process unless your 100% with understanding batch/cmd commands. when i did installed, everything went slow, programs not responding, and those dam pop ups. I just want ie7 with sp3 after i get done using ie6 for my installation. But it also comes with a handy little program uninstaller. I am sorry to hear that you are unable to install Internet Explorer 8.

I can confirm that in Vista it is found in the View Installed Updates section of Add/Remove Programs.
