Thanks! Now, I know that the installation disc work perfect and it isn't the cd (Since I tried it on a virtual disc). I am online now only because of my old semi retired gaming computer running W98SE. I had to integerate the SATA drivers and made a new cd from the retail CD with the SATA drivers.

well during the sp service pack 2 installation.....i cant copy the oembios.bin file and after skipping it.....all goes well until the setup is finished and then when i try to log You could also just call ms and tell them that the cd you bought is defective and why and ask for a replacement copy. I had blown my old MB and replaced it.

I know windows is installed but it freezes before going there, I took oembios.bin from another computer (I don't know if it will work since it has the registration info) but until it finally went to 100% and when started to set up windows told me c:/windows/system32/dllcache/oembios.bion data lost, error caused by failure in computer hardware or network connection please try to HELP!
