Rptproj Cannot Be Opened Visual Studio 2005
So naturally I thought I was looking at an installer for the regular version of SQL Server 2012 Express so I completely ignored it and looked elsewhere. Note, you have to have VS 2008 SP 1 installed (at least for SQL Server 2008 R2). But due to some other requirements , we had to installed Complete VS.NET 2005 on the same system. Was missing reporting project type from Visual Studio 2005/2008.Inserted Sql2005 developer version, ran the regular setup and let it install Sql 2005 support files. this contact form

In Visual Studio 2010, if you attempt to upgrade a project that is created in Business Intelligence Development Studio, the upgrade will not succeed. These are essentially reports that are stored and executed on the server. I saw a response to reinstall the client tools but not sure if they were referring to SQL 2005 Client tool s or what not.
